Before

As of today, users can view their badge collection or discover new ones only upon navigating to the Badge Gallery tab in Rewards page.

• Resulted in low engagement rate for Badge Gallery at 10% for 2021 YTD [ref here]

After

Feature

Introducing new badge section in 1.93; which now highlight badges, especially new & featured groups and unlocked badges.

Featured badge group

• Users can now preview their badges & its progress right from the Rewards page

  • Shown in order of badge status: starting with new, in-progress, pending, and lastly unlocked

• Tapping on it redirects user to that specific badge group in Badge Gallery

Highlight card

• Highlight card displayed whenever new badges are unlocked

• Card disappears upon;

  • Tapping on the badge page

  • After 3 days of inaction

• Tapping on the card redirects users to the Badge Gallery where the badge is located

Release Plan

Target release on App version 1.93.0, on the week of 28 Mar 2022. This feature is part of the revamped rewards page initiative.

• Phase 1: Badge section to highlight badges & its status

• Phase 2: Mesra card design as reward banner

  • 2a: Preset default design

  • 2b: Options to select designs

  • 2c: Designs unlockable as rewards
