
Q1. What is the Kedai Mesra Rewards campaign?
PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad (PDB) has curated an offering for customers to get
rewarded when they purchase their essentials at Kedai Mesra.
When customers spend RM20 in a single transaction through Setel at Kedai
Mesra, they will get a bonus of 50 Mesra Points in addition to the existing Mesra
rewards programme.
With Kedai Mesra carrying essential products such as dried goods, drinks and
personal care items, customers can come to the store and avoid crowded areas
while shopping safely through cashless payment method and Deliver2Me.
This is a targeted campaign. Selected Setel users will be informed about the offer
through Setel’s inbox message and in-app push.
Q2. Who is eligible for this campaign?
This is a targeted campaign, therefore the following pool of Setel customers will
receive this offer:
● C-Store only customers with below spending of RM15 within past three months
● Deliver2me customers with below spending of RM15 within past three months
● Fuel only customers who does not make C-Store purchases
Q3 When is the campaign period?
1st July -14th July 2021
Q4 Are all PETRONAS stations participating in this campaign?
Only PETRONAS Stations with Kedai Mesra
Q5 How many Rewards will be available throughout the campaign?
There are only 19,392 customers who can receive the Reward on a first come first
serve basis.
Q6 How does the campaign work?
• This Campaign offers selected Setel users 50 bonus Mesra Points when they
spend a minimum of RM20 at Kedai Mesra in a single transaction (excluding
cigarettes and mobile and Touch n Go top-ups) at PETRONAS Stations using the
Setel app.
• Eligible Customer(s) will receive a message confirmation in the Setel app Inbox
on the Offer.
• Each customer is eligible for only a one (1) time 50 Mesra points bonus
throughout the entire Campaign period.
• The bonus 50 Mesra Points reward is on a first come first serve basis.
• All rewards are non-transferable, nor exchangeable for cash.
Q7 How can the eligible customer get the information about this campaign?
Eligible Customers will be notified of the Offer via digital efforts such as Setel
inbox message and in-app during the Campaign Period.
Q8 Do you need to use Setel to be eligible for this campaign?
Yes, because this campaign will reward customers who purchases at Kedai Mesra
through the Setel app
Q9 What can customers redeem with the 50 Bonus Mesra points?
Customers can redeem their Mesra points on shopping, F&B, services and
wellness deals available on the Setel app.
Q10 Is there a minimum spend required for the campaign?
Customers are required to spend RM20 in a single transaction, to be eligible to
receive the bonus 50 Mesra points reward.
Q11 How many rewards would customer be entitled to for the RM20 spend?
For every minimum spend of RM20 in a single transaction at Kedai Mesra via
Setel, customers will receive a one (1) time 50 Mesra points Bonus.
Q12 If customer spends RM40 in a single transaction, will they get two (2) Bonus 50 Mesra points?
No. Customer’s total spending of RM40 in a single transaction DOES NOT entitle them for two (2) Rewards of 50 bonus Mesra points each.
Q13 Is it valid to change the 50 Mesra points to physical cash?
No. The bonus 50 Mesra points is strictly not exchangeable for physical cash and all points redemption can be made through the Setel app.
Q14 Is the offer valid for PETRONAS Staff?
Yes. PETRONAS Staff is entitled to the offer.
Q15 When will customers receive the Bonus Mesra points?
The Reward will be transferred to the Eligible Customer(s) within (3) to four (4)
weeks after the campaign ends
