How do I link SmartPay to Setel?

I do not have a Setel account, what do I do?
You can download and register for a Setel account through our website or mobile app.
How do I share my SmartPay balance?
All you need to do is activate Setel Share in your Setel app and invite up to 2 members to join your Setel Share group.
If they’re new to Setel, all they have to do is register for a Setel account with your invitation code to join your group. They can then start paying for fuel with your SmartPay balance.
How many people can I invite to join my Setel Share group?
You can invite up to 2 members (1 family member and 1 driver).
Do I still have to use my SmartPay card PIN number to authorise fuel payment?
You can authorise the payment with Face ID/Touch ID (iPhone) or biometric authorisation (Android). You will need to ensure it is enabled on the app.
Do my Setel Share group members require a PIN number to use my SmartPay balance to pay for fuel?
The PIN is not required but all transactions on Setel will require the standard authorisation through Face ID/TouchID (iPhone) or Biometric authorisation (Android).
All Setel Share group owners will be notified of any transactions made via Setel Share.
Can I still use my physical SmartPay card once it is linked to Setel?
Yes.
Your physical SmartPay card will still be active so you can still use them.
How do I check my SmartPay balance?
You can find your account balances on the top right corner of the home screen of your Setel App.
Select the SmartPay option to view your SmartPay balance
Can my SmartPay balance be used to pay for other items (i.e. Items at Kedai Mesra vis Deliver2Me)?
Unfortunately, no.
Your SmartPay balance can only be used for refuelling (this applies to all members in your Setel Share group).
