1. Summary

Setel users can now enjoy exclusive discount on items based on their Mesra membership tier. The highest membership tier, Hero, will enjoy the highest discount when they shop at PETRONAS Shop.

2. Details

2.1 Before

All item prices on the PETRONAS Shop website are limited to various discount setups (e.g. voucher code, purchase with purchase, fixed/percentage discount, bulk) and customer category types (e.g. public, staff, dealer).

The Mesra tier Membership Hero, Explorer, and Junior have no differences in pricing.

2.2 After

2.2.1 How it works

With Setel users’ Mesra tier membership, they can now enjoy cheaper pricing based on their membership. The shopping experience is the same as all other items or discounts, users just simply view a product, add it to the cart and proceed to checkout. The Mesra tier pricing is already automatically applied, no additional discount/voucher code is needed. Super easy.

2.2.2 What is a Mesra membership

There are 3 Mesra tier memberships in Membership 3.0:

• Level 1: Junior - 0 - 99 points / month

• Level 2: Explorer - 100 - 279 points / month

• Level 3: Hero - > 280 points / month

The discount pricing is simple, the higher membership tiering the users, the higher discount the users can enjoy. Each membership pricing is displayed on the product details page. On the product listing page (image above), when the item has exclusive pricing for Mesra membership, it’ll show a label indicating which membership tier is entitled to the discount.

2.2.3 Check my Mesra membership

PETRONAS Shop users can check their Mesra membership directly inside the My Account page, under Personal details > Mesra membership.

2.2.4 Mesra badge and label display

In this entire release, the shopping experience for the Mesra membership badge and labels is clearly shown on the product listing page, product details page, and My account page. These badge and labels are also shown inside the cart page and website header beside the user’s name.
