1.0 Summary

One-Tap Fuelling is now available in Setel Watch App! Now you can also purchase fuel from your Apple Watch with just One-Tap click. Users are require to pre-configure fuel parameters such as Amount (RM) or Litre (L) on the app and the feature is ready to use in the watch app.

2.0 Details

2.1 How does One-Tap Fuelling works in Watch app?*

Now, users can initiate refuelling with just One-Tap from Setel Watch App. All need to be done is just pre-configure the One-Tap preferences in Setel Mobile app (refer 2.4) and that will allow users to initiate refuelling with just One-Tap from the Setel Watch app when users is at the station.

When user is at the station and enabled with One-Tap Fuelling

Once a fuel order is placed, the user will go through the expected order states and will be displayed via the screens below.

When a fuel order is being placed

When the pump is being activated

When a fuel order is connecting to the pump

User may start refuelling now

This screen appears when user lifted up the pump nozzle and begins fuelling

2.2 What if users encountered payment error upon fuel ordering?*

Users may encountered insufficient balance in Setel Wallet or outdated payment information when using CardTerus for fuel ordering.

When users needs to update the payment information

When this situation occurred, users need to perform the necessary top-up or update the credit card information via Setel Mobile app. Once completed, users is require to re-select the pump again for fuel ordering in the Watch app, refer 2.1 for the steps on fuel ordering.

2.3 Will all users be automatically onboarded to this new experience?*

No. This is an opt-in feature, wherein users configure fuelling amount and enable this experience. Refer 2.3 for further details on settings. Feature will not be enabled automatically.

2.4 How do I set up my One-Tap Fuelling preferences?*

One-Tap Fuelling preferences can only be preset using Setel mobile app. You may enable it at, “More” > Select “Preferences” > enable “One-tap Fuelling” > Complete the setup by providing information required.

2.5 Do I need to enable preset any Settings in my Apple Watch to enable this One-Tap feature in the Watch app?

No configuration is require in the Apple Watch. This feature will be automatically enabled in the Watch app once it's has been preset in the Setel mobile app.

2.6 What are the payment method supported when using the One-Tap Fuelling in Watch app?

The payment methods accepted are via your Setel wallet, Setel Share, Card Terus and Smart Pay account.

2.7 How safe to initiate One-Tap Fuelling using the Watch app?

As per HSE guidelines, Setel Watch app is safe to use where Users can initiate fuelling via Watch app with just One-Tap away. It is safe for User to use inside their vehicle, then leave their mobile phones in their vehicles (for 4 wheel vehicles) and walk to the pump for dispensing fuel.

2.8 Can I cancel my One-Tap Fuelling order from Watch app?

Yes, users can cancel the refuelling via Watch app. However, if the refuelling is in progress, users will not be able to cancel from main iOS app as well.

2.9 Can I disable the One-Tap Fuelling feature on both Mobile app and Watch app?*

Yes, user will be able to turn off the feature via Mobile app and remain using regular refuelling flow at any point of time.

2.10 Is One-Tap Fuelling feature supported for all IOS watch user?

Yes, this feature is available for all Setel users with versions 1.111 and above. Users who have Apple Watch (Series 2 onwards) will have Setel’s Watch app automatically installed on their Apple Watch.

2.11 Can I activate One-Tap Fuelling in Watch app if i own an Android phone?*

The Setel Watch can only be used for users that are using iPhones. A user who owns an Apple Watch but uses an Android mobile phone will not be able to download the Setel Watch as it is a companion app of the iOS version of the Setel app.

4.0 Operations guide

4.1 How do I know if user is enable the One-Tap Fuelling feature for fuel orders?

In Backend, all Fuel orders will be introduced with a new property isOneTap

4.2 In Admin portal, how can I distinguish if One-Tap Fuelling order is from watch or phone app?

In Retail → Fuel Orders → Order details, Admin will be able to view if the fuel order is purchase through app or watch under the parameter named Interface .

4.3 How to handle outage for this feature?

Outages follow Setel app on the mobile devices. This feature is triggered via the following Variables

In Accounts → dashboard, Admin can view if a User enabled One-Tap Fuelling

4.4 What are the error codes for One-Tap Fuelling using Watch app?

There are no new error codes introduced, as fuelling flow has not changed.
