1. Summary
Setel QR Parking is the next best solution for a ticketless and cardless parking experience by allowing users to exit the parking area by pointing their Setel QR code to the parking machine's QR code reader. Motorists can pay for parking using the Setel wallet and CardTerus 2.0.
2. Details
Setel QR Parking has been launched at open carparks in Putrajaya areas with Wei Long Electronics Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. as the parking system provider. To expand more, Setel QR parking will be launched at Alamanda Shopping Centre, Putrajaya.
However, the difference in user journey between QR parking at open car park areas and Alamanda Putrajaya is only at the entry gate. For example, for open carparks, users have to scan in and out, while at Alamanda enter using LPR and exit using QR. This difference will give a much more convenient flow and seamless journey to the users.
There are 7 entry lanes and 7 exit lanes available at Alamanda Shopping Center:

2.2. Parking session started
At the entrance of Alamanda Shopping Centre, motorists only need to drive into the parking lots as the Licensed Plate Reader (LPR) will automatically detect the motorist’s plate number and lifts the barrier gate. Motorists would not need to point their Setel QR code or tap the cards at the entry gate.
For Setel users, who have used Automated Parking before, motorists do not need to enable the vehicle to activate the LPR detection at Alamanda Shopping Centre. The entry gate will grant access to all motorists regardless of the payment method used.
A video shows the detection of LPR at Alamanda Shopping Centre entry lane.
2.3. Parking session ended and receipt
At the exit of Alamanda Shopping Centre, motorists need to point their Setel QR code to the QR code reader to make payment. Setel QR also will be enable as one of the jump card option for users to make payment.

Once payment is successful, a parking e-receipt will also be sent to motorists' registered emails with the Setel app. Motorists can download the receipt in PDF.
In the PDF statement, motorists will see the total amount paid including payment method, duration, location name (if available), and date/time transaction made.
