You may also like is aimed to enhance the user shopping experience, help users to notice the things they might be missed and interested in. Leveraging Dynamic Yield as the recommendation engine to recognize and study customer behavior and push personalized SKU recommendation based on their interest on website.
2. Details
2.1 Before
Users are aware of the latest release and shop recommendations from PETRONAS Shop. However, the SKU recommendation is not users' interest-based.
2.2 After
All logged-in users are able to view a list of SKUs targeted based on their interests in the You may also like the recommendation section on the website (Desktop, mobile & mini). The recommended SKUs are automated product feed with the existing and active items from PETRONAS Shop.
While, Dynamic Yield uses internal algorithms to generate a personalized recommendation based on usersโ interaction with the website, past purchase experiences, attributes, and product data.
2.2.1 The personalized journey
When logged-in users land on the PETRONAS Shop website, the user will be able to view a new section name โYou may also likeโ, with a curated list of items:
