2022 Q2: Setel One-click Checkout

One-click Checkout is an alternative flow to the normal Checkout, that allows customer to complete a purchase without having to meticulously fill out their address information for every purchase. Instead, One-click Checkout will simply use information stored in the customers' Setel account to automatically fill out their address in the purchase order.

Naturally, One-click Checkout applies to purchase that uses customer address for shipping purposes, and Setel payment.

The screens depicted below are not final and is expected to change.

One-click Checkout should occupies a “Checkout” button on the merchants' order preview page, similar to normal Checkout.

Customer can choose to select One-click Checkout or fill the address form and select normal Checkout instead.

After logging in their Setel account in One-click Checkout, customer can simply select their preferred address and shipping option to complete their order. Customer can also manage their addresses here.

First time customer must add an address to proceed.

Customer can then select their Setel payment method of choice to complete the purchase.

One-click Checkout handles everything else, from updating order to merchant, to getting shipping information.

One-click Checkout MVP targets 1.95 (25 April 2022) as ready for integration. PRYSM will be the first vendor to use One-click Checkout.

SetelExpress will be the shipping service of choice to One-click Checkout. However, due to SetelExpress merging into Setel system targeting completion at end of Q2 - integration with shipping service for One-click Checkout will wait until Q3 at the earliest. Until then, shipping option in One-click Checkout will display as standard shipping method and free shipping cost (as aligned with PRYSM).
