https://setelnow.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/REC can have their parcel updates sent via SMS, select Self pickup as an option at selected hub and share their rating and feedback of Setel Express services. SMS is sent to receivers when there is a shipment status change. For example, SMS is sent when shipment status changes from Out for Delivery to Completed.

Track parcel in Setel app

We are targeting to release the enhancements below in Setel app version 1.95.0:

Enabling notification feature in Track parcel mini app. Receivers can receive notifications from Setel app via push/inbox¹.
Introducing Continue with Setel section for Non Setel users when they clicks SMS token tracking. This is to encourage non-Setel users to instal Setel app².

With these enhancements, we can minimise SMS cost and convert a percentage of users by using our notifications feature in Setel app. Explore full flow here.

Enabling notification in Track parcel mini app

**Validation occurs when users turn off push notifications , system will immediately turn on SMS notifications back and vice versa.

Notify user via push/inbox

User receive Track parcel push notifications from Setel app and click on it. User will receive the same trigger points as SMS notifications which is In Transit, Out for Delivery, Ready for collection, Completed and Failed Delivery.

2. System redirect user to Inbox and require user to click to learn more. To set content card to be remove after 7days.

3. System redirect to inbox messages and require user to click CTA More info to view shipment timeline.

4. System open Web URL from inbox and display shipment timeline page accordingly. Click done and user can go back to previous screen.
