Users can change their language preference in the mini app using the language drop down button after the release of sprint 1.99.0
2. Details
2.1. Before
The current language preference supported in the motor insurance mini-app is only English. As Setel App has 4 languages for users to select from, it is expected that the motor insurance will support these languages. The recent feedback provided by the UX research team suggests some users are having difficulties interpreting certain words in the insurance user journey.
2.2. After
Starting from the Setel app version 1.99.0, users can see a language toggle on the header section of the motor insurance screen. The language toggle will cater to Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), and Tamil. We hope this enhancement can reduce the difficulty for users to comprehend the default language (ENG) by switching to the preferred language.

3. Release plan
The release plan will be done in a few phases:
The app version 1.99.0 is targeted to be released on → It will cover the feature of the language toggle button in the motor insurance mini-app and offer all front-end localisation except error messages and online documents.
The app version 1.100.0 is targeted to be released on → It will cover the localisation of error messages and online documents.
The app version 1.101.0 is targeted to be released on → It will cover the feature of auto-sync language preference from the Setel app to the insurance mini-app for Android. Note: 100% release to Android completed on
The app version 1.102.0 is targeted to be released on → It will cover the feature of auto-sync language preference from the Setel app to the insurance mini-app for iOS.
