Send Parcel Web App

Consumer sender can send purchase Setel Express Pack and drop off their parcel at any of the Setel Express Hubs and 5 Setel Express Points (Mersa Store) around Klang Valley. Consumers can pack all they can fit inside the polymailer and scan the QR code on the polymailer. After scanning it will lead them to the Send Parcel Web App to fill in the shipment details.

Consumers will have a choice of creating the shipment as a guest or log in with Setel. For those interested to create an account, they can do so too.

SMS triggers

Shipment created

SMS will be sent to the sender’s phone number upon successful creating the shipment after tapping confirm on the summary screen. This gives an assurance to the sender of the shipment is created and allows them to edit the details should they close or lost the page on their phones

Drop off successful

SMS will be sent to the sender’s phone number upon successful drop off after the Krew PETRONAS or hub operators scans the polymailer. This gives an assurance to the sender of the shipment is dropped off

Address book

In order to save time filling in all the information, consumers can choose to log in with Setel Account to save and select their addresses in the address book or add new addresses for future selection. This feature is available when filling for both sender and receiver details

Enhancement of sync Address Book to Setel Account been deployed on 1.100 release on 04 Jul 2022

Next

We are targeting to introduce a Send Parcel Web App inside Setel app so that consumers can:

• PUDO point discovery

• Create Setel Express Pack shipment inside Setel app

With this enhancement, consumers can find out all participating Setel Express points that are within peninsular Malaysia and create their shipment inside Setel App

Release plan

The release for PUDO MVP will be on sprint 1.97.0 on 17 May 2022

The target release for PUDO in the Setel App be in the app version 1.98.0 on 07 Jun 2022
