1. Summary

Post-blocking Diesel limitation will be in force starting from app version 1.101.0

KPDNHEP has set several requirements which restricts and limits fuel purchases which need to be applied to the motorists throughout the country. Setel will have to apply these limitations within the ecosystem, e.g. Setel App, Setel Lite app, Setel Watch etc, and monitor the fuel purchases to ensure the requirements are met.

2. Details

Post-blocking Diesel limitation will be in force for users that hit the following conditions below:

• cumulative purchase of Diesel ≥ 250 litres within a day

• fuel purchase made from Setel App, Setel Lite, and/or Setel Watch

• applicable to all payment methods e.g. Setel Wallet, Card Terus, SmartPay, Setel Share - SmartPay

Once limitation is hit, users will be unable to purchase for fuel for the day.

• real-time alerts will be sent to a Slack channel (to be inserted) for users that hit the fuel suspension

2.2 Uplifting of Suspension

Daily suspension will be uplifted automatically at 0000AM.

2.3 How it works

2.4 Exclusion list

Stations in Sarawak are excluded from this daily diesel limitation.

4. FAQs

Q: What is the daily Diesel allowable to refuel limit?
A: Cumulative purchase of Diesel ≤ 250 limits throughout the day. Can be split into multiple purchases as long as it’s within the 250 litres limit.

Q: What happens when I’m suspended?
A: You will be restricted from using Setel to purchase any fuel (including ron95, ron97 etc.) for the day. Limitation will be removed the next day.

Q: How long will my account be restricted?
A: Your account restriction will be removed the next day. You’d be able to refuel any type of fuel the next day.
