1. Summary

Setel is integrating with iPay88 to enable the barcode/QR pay for the merchants that are beyond PETRONAS. Hence, iPay88 sends a request to enhance the barcode/QR code format (16 numeric digits) to include Prefix (3 letters), to able for iPay88 to identify unique Setel barcode/QR code.

2. Details

2.1. Before

In the Pay tab, the barcode will be displayed as 16 numeric digits.

2.2. Prefix barcode and QR code by 1.100.0

With the 1.100.0 app version for both Android and iOS, prefix barcode and QR code will be available in the Pay tab with the new format which is {SET}{13 numeric digits}. However, it will be controlled by the variable Variables - Pay (api-otac)

3. Release plan

Prefix barcode and QR code will be released in 1.100.0

Currently, in production the barcode and QR code still remain with 16 numeric digits with variable control.

• iPay88 is implementing the prefix under sandbox environment. Once they ready to live, Setel will live the prefix barcode and QR code in production.

• TBC on the launch date. (Pending on Sentinel POS to enhancement)
