2.1. Before
AXA server is facing frequent weekly scheduled maintenance. During the maintenance period, the communication with AXA API will be disrupted. The current workaround for this problem is to post maintenance announcement in the #announce-downtime channel and update the variable targeting rule in the Admin portal to hide the Motor insurance icon in the More tab. This method is inconvenient and requires a banner to be shown on the Setel homepage.
2.2. After
Starting from the Setel app version 1.94.0, users can see maintenance banner1 on the motor insurance landing page should the downtime happen while the users are still on the homepage. Users can also see the maintenance error page should the downtime happen while they’re navigating through the insurance user journey (beyond the home page). We hope this enhancement can eliminate the need to involve multiple teams to set up the maintenance banner and hide the motor insurance icon in the More tab. Most importantly, the banner can be shown specifically on the motor insurance landing page instead of the Setel App homepage.
