2022 Q1: Order Gas PETRONAS with Deliver2Me at PETRONAS stations

Customers can now order Gas PETRONAS via Deliver2Me at selected PETRONAS stations, and have it delivered right to their vehicle boot!

Note: This option is not available in Deliver2Me as part of the refuelling flow when users are parked at the pump, instead, it requires users to

  1. Order directly with Deliver2Me from the Setel app home page when at the station

  2. Be parked right beside the gas cage for fulfilment of the order.

Introducing LPG Cooking gas items in Deliver2Me catalogue. Users will now be able to order LPG Cooking gas at selected PETRONAS stations via Setel app.

2.1. How do I order Cooking gas?

At selected PETRONAS stations, Users will be able to access Deliver2Me via the Home page. When Users navigate, they can view LPG Gas items in Mesra Store Catalogue, as they are sold at the Mesra Store in PETRONAS stations today. Users will be able to purchase LPG gas refill if they have cylinders already, or they will be able to purchase Cylinder and the refill together in different denominations, 12 kg and 14 kg.

Upon adding LPG items to cart and proceeding to pay, Users will be advised to park their vehicles at designated LPG Gas Cage at the stations in order to get their items delivered.

2.2. Will I have to carry the Gas cylinder from Store myself?

No. Station crew will help to bring the cylinder to Gas Cage area using a trolley. You may open your boot as they arrive. Crew will place the cylinder in your boot directly.

2.3. Will PETRONAS accept only PETRONAS brand cylinders? Can i bring in another brand for refill?

Yes. According to LPG Gas team, Users may bring any cylinders, regardless of brand.

2.4. Do I earn Mesra points for this purchase?

Yes. Users get to enjoy Mesra points earnings for LPG Gas purchase. Dynamics is the same as that of Kedai Mesra items, 1 RM = 1 point.

2.5. Can I order other Mesra items along with LPG Gas?

No, at the beginning. As we scale, Setel will validate operational viability to allow Users to order other items from the Mesra Catalogue along with LPG Cooking Gas items.

2.6. What if LPG Gas cage is not free, can i wait anywhere else in the station?

No. Please wait for the other vehicle to pass, in order for you to park at the designated LPG Gas cage. Main reason being stations are mandated by HSE to follow safety guidelines, to prevent any accidents while handling LPG Gas as it is highly inflammable. Hence a dedicated parking space has been allotted as Gas Cage.

3.1. Released on 1.93.0

Product was launched in first station on March 28, 2022. In the subsequent 2 weeks, all 6 pilot stations were deployed. LPG Gas on D2M will be scaling to rest of the stations in the upcoming months.

3.2. Which PETRONAS stations are selling Gas PETRONAS?

LPG Gas is being sold at ~175 PETRONAS Stations in Malaysia currently. LPG Gas team is scaling to further stations across Malaysia, focussing on Klang valley first.

3.3. Which PETRONAS stations are we piloting this?

For initial pilot, 6 stations will be rolled out with this capability of buying LPG Gas via Deliver2Me in Setel app.
