1.0 Summary

Introducing One-tap Fuelling! Setel Users will now be able to refuel with just One-tap on the app. We allow Users to pre-configure fuel parameters such as amount, litre so they can only choose pump number at the station and start refuelling.

2.0 Details

2.1 How does One-tap Fuelling work?

Currently, when User is at a Station, he/she needs to make a few selections to initiate fuelling, for example, read safety guidelines and agree, choose pump number, fuelling amount, in litres or amount, custom amount or Full tank. For fuelling in litres, User also needs to choose a Fuel type to get an estimated price for fuel purchase. Upon above selections, User authorises purchase with passcode to successfully place a Fuel order.

With One-tap Fuelling, we allow Users to pre configure all the above steps and allow users to initiate refuelling with just One-tap, which is the pump number.

2.2 Will all users be automatically onboarded to this new experience?

No. This is an opt-in feature, wherein users configure fuelling amount and enable this experience. Refer 2.3 for further details on settings. Feature will not be enabled automatically.

2.3 What are the configurations to be set up?

Following are the list of configurations required to be set up by Users

When this feature is launched, User can ONLY setup fuelling by amount. Fulltank and Fuel by litres will be enhancements in later sprints.

2.6 What if something goes wrong during refuelling after One-tap is enabled?

Users may initiate chat during their fuelling process as usual, no changes to current flow.

2.7 What if the fuel pump is under maintenance?

Same as the regular fuelling flow, pump number that is under maintenance will be greyed out

2.7 Is this available for iOS and Android?

Yes, this feature is available for all Setel users with versions 1.102 and above

2.8 Can User turn off One-tap Fuelling after trying out?

Yes, user will be able to turn off the feature and use regular refuelling flow at any point of time.

2.9 Will Users see Deliver2Me prompt while fuelling when One-tap is enabled?

Not when feature is launched in 1.102. In subsequent phases, we will introduce Deliver2Me in One-tap Fuelling flow.

2.10 Will Watch Users get to enjoy One-tap Fuelling?

Yes, coming soon. We shall plan and announce the dates. This is not part of August release.

4.1 How can I track One-tap enabled fuel orders?

In Backend, all Fuel orders will be introduced with a new property isOneTap
Mixpanel tracking is not upon launch and will be available in 1.104. Until then, One-tap fuel orders can be tracked via backend SQL queries by filtering isOneTap is true
