Why does it say pending transaction when I top up?

A transaction may be stuck in pending/processing because of a delayed response from the bank. Here is the flow. You can click on each part for more info.

1. Check to see if the transaction will be processed.
2. Wait for a response from the bank.
3. If the transaction timed out, check again with the bank later.
